too shy to say but listening to Againts All Odds by the postal service made me want to listen to some Phil Collins stuff which i grew up with, my parents being huge phil fans…
Five songs I listen to a lot, or that means a lot to me:
Dream Attack - New Order from Technique. My best of all times, because it sounds like being in love while standing in the sun under a clear blue sky;
Neighborhood #3 - Arcade fire, because the energy coming out of this one remembers me hey i’m alive;
Make it 1 2 - Arthur Russel, because he has been one of the first to create an emotional disco with chords in it;
Automatic Lover - JJ Johanson, caus it’s a perfect pop melody playing over a surreal soft robot-like voice telling you everything’s gonna be allright darlin’ you’ve just been hurt;
The Robots - Kraftwerk. Because all of the above wouldn’t have been happening without them. And i love robots.
